How to Scan a Barcode

- Wait for the decoded value to appear.
- Copy it into whatever system you need.
Limits
- 1D formats such as EAN, UPC, Code 128 and Code 39.

- Blurry or cropped codes often fail.
Privacy and Processing
The image never leaves your device. We do not receive a copy of the photo or of the decoded value.

Why did a scan fail?
Use a sharp, well-lit photo with the bars filling most of the frame. Blurry or partly cropped codes often fail.
Can I scan several codes at once?
The page reports the first code it can read in the frame.
Do I need a dedicated scanner gun?
No. A phone or laptop camera, or a still photo, is enough when the code is clear.
