How to Convert Excel to CSV

  2. Wait while the first sheet is exported.
  3. Download the .csv file.

Limits

  • First sheet only, up to 10,000 rows and 10 MB.
  • .xls files are not accepted.
  • Requests are limited to ten per minute from the same address.

Privacy and Processing

The workbook is uploaded to produce the CSV, then discarded. Do not upload files you are not permitted to share.

Calculated values are written where possible. The formula itself is not exported. Charts, macros and formatting are dropped.

No. Save or export the workbook as .xlsx first.

How many rows can I convert?

Up to 10,000 rows on the first sheet. Larger sheets are rejected.

Is my file stored?

It is uploaded to produce the CSV, then discarded.
